Irish Strength Project Overview

At Bishop McNamara Catholic School, we recently unveiled a redesign of our school fitness center that will create new levels of motivation and inspiration for BMCS students, faculty and alumni.  This would not have been possible without our community of businesses, alumni, and friends to partner with Bishop McNamara Catholic School to fund the Irish Strength Project.

The fitness center is located at our BMCS Kankakee Site. Approximately 400 students in grades 6 – 12 participate in over 25 sports and physical education classes at Bishop McNamara. The goal of the Irish Strength Project is educating our students with proper exercise techniques and provide an opportunity to stay fit. All Fightin’ Irish sports teams have access to training and instruction to help them become the best they can be in competition.
