Introducing Mac Monday Meet-Ups! What are Mac Monday Meet-Ups? Thanks for asking! Dawn Akerman, Director of Admissions, is hitting the road for meet potential new families where they are! — in their neighborhoods. This is an opportunity to break bread and get to know what Bishop McNamara is all about. 📣 Helping spread the word! Final exams are just around the corner! Mark you calendars now! Students are required to be at school when they are taking exams, when they are finished with all their finals for the day they are allowed to leave campus. However, students MUST arrive on time for their finals. Any student that is late may not be allowed by their teacher to take the exam and they will have to return during a make-up session to complete it. In an effort to keep the halls quiet, students will have to stay in the room for the duration of the testing session and will not be able to leave the room early. The lunchroom will be open during the lunch hour for grab and go lunches. Anyone that misses a final will have to make it up with their teachers during one of the two make-up sessions. However, every effort should be made to complete their exams during the assigned time slot. If you know your child will be absent from a final exam, please contact Mrs. Elvir eelvir@bmcss.org ASAP - Absences will be reviewed case by case Bishop McNamara completely and strongly discourages students and parents from scheduling vacations during school time, especially during finals. The daily interruption between teacher and student is an important and irreplaceable facet of education.

Our Bishop McNamara students grades 1st through 12th will be gathering together on Thursday, October 17th at 9:20 a.m. to celebrate the School Wide Rosary. The Rosary will be held in the Kankakee Site Gym. All parents are welcome to attend this beautiful ceremony. All students are asked to please bring a rosary with them to school. If your child does not have a rosary, they can purchase one from the Madrinas or we will have some available for students to borrow for the day.
